About the role

Celebration Blenders & Distillers Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join our team in Kolkata. The ASM will be responsible for managing and expanding our sales channels, ensuring effective distribution, and achieving sales targets within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel sales and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in the assigned region.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market reach and increase revenue.
• Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners to ensure effective product distribution and availability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide insights and recommendations for sales strategies.
• Conduct regular market visits to ensure the implementation of sales plans and gather market intelligence.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and sales campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduate degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the beverages or FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software.

• Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
