We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, coupled with hands-on experience in industrial and project sales. This role demands expertise in government liaisoning, strategic business development, and maintaining robust connections within the steel industry.

1. Sales and Business Development:

   • Identify and target potential clients in the industrial and steel sectors.
   • Drive project sales and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
   • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.

2. Government Liaisoning:

   • Establish and maintain effective relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies.
   • Ensure smooth handling of approvals, compliance, and project-related documentation.

3. Client Relationship Management:

   • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
   • Act as a point of contact for technical and commercial discussions.

4. Market Research and Analysis:

   • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
   • Provide insights for strategic decision-making and product positioning.

5. Technical Expertise:

   • Leverage engineering knowledge to propose tailored solutions to clients.
   • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

• Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial sales, with a strong focus on project sales.
• Industry Knowledge:
  • Proven expertise in government liaisoning and regulatory processes.
  • Established network and connections within the steel industry.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
