Job Description : Job Description: Site Engineer (Civil) / Site Manager Department: Civil Engineering Employment Type: Full-time Number of Openings: 1 Candidate Preference: Male Experience Required: 10–15 years Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Civil) / Site Manager to independently manage government tender-based civil construction projects from planning through completion. The candidate must have proven experience in site execution, project coordination, billing, documentation, quality control and compliance with contractual specifications. Prior experience working on projects under MES, CPWD, PWD, Railways, Defence or other government departments is mandatory. Key Responsibilities Independently plan, execute and supervise civil construction projects from mobilisation through final handover. Manage projects undertaken for MES, CPWD, PWD, Railways, Defence and other government departments. Study and implement civil and structural drawings, layouts, project plans, BOQs, specifications and tender documents. Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and coordinate drawing requirements with consultants and project teams. Prepare execution plans, work schedules, resource requirements and daily or weekly project targets. Supervise all site activities, including structural work, civil work and finishing work. Monitor project progress and ensure completion within the approved scope, timeline, budget, quality standards and tender requirements. Coordinate with government officials, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and internal site teams. Prepare and maintain daily site reports, measurement records, work-progress reports, material statements and project documentation. Handle quantity measurements, BOQ verification, estimation, billing and certification-related documentation. Monitor procurement, movement, availability, storage and proper utilisation of construction materials at the site. Ensure that all project records and statutory documentation are accurately maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and construction standards. Implement site safety procedures and ensure adherence to applicable health, safety and environmental requirements. Identify execution-related risks, technical issues and delays, and take timely corrective action. Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing, snag rectification and final project handover. Candidate Profile Education B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution. Experience 10–15 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site execution. Proven experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer or Site Manager. Ability to independently manage a project from planning and mobilisation through execution and completion. Prior experience in government projects or government tender-based construction projects is mandatory. Candidates with experience in MES, CPWD, PWD, Railways or Defence projects will be preferred. Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of civil construction, site execution, project planning and finishing work. Thorough understanding of government tender conditions, technical specifications and project-compliance requirements. Knowledge of BOQ preparation and verification, estimation, quantity measurement, billing and project documentation. Ability to interpret civil and structural drawings, AutoCAD drawings, specifications and other technical documents. Knowledge of quality-control procedures, construction standards, safety requirements and site practices. Experience in material planning, procurement coordination, inventory control and resource utilisation. Strong ability to coordinate with government departments, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and vendors. Proficiency in preparing progress reports, measurement records and project-related documentation.
