Job Description : Counter Sales Executive – Jewellery Recruitment Mantra is hiring for B. Sirkar Johuree Pvt. Ltd. The role involves helping customers select jewellery and providing attentive service at the sales counter. Job details Location: Bowbazar, Elgin, Nagerbazar, Salt Lake or Gariahat, Kolkata Employment: Full-time Working hours: 10:30 AM–7:30 PM Weekly off: One day per week; the day is not fixed Joining: Immediate joiners preferred Key responsibilities Welcome customers and understand their preferences, requirements and budget. Present gold, diamond, silver and platinum jewellery. Explain product features and help customers make their selections. Handle counter sales with courteous, attentive service. Keep the counter organised and products well presented. Coordinate with the store team and follow store sales procedures. Assist with periodic inventory checks, approximately three times a year depending on the department. Work towards assigned sales targets. Candidate requirements Fluent in Bengali and English. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Polite, presentable and comfortable speaking with customers. Jewellery or retail sales experience preferred; freshers may apply. Experience Monthly salary Fresher ₹8,000–₹10,000 0–2 years ₹10,000–₹14,000 2–4 years ₹14,000–₹18,000 4+ years Negotiable based on experience Eligible sales incentives are additional to the fixed salary.
