Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Hotel Udichi Regency. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create innovative and delightful menus. Responsibilities: Menu Development: Create and update menus in line with the hotel's culinary philosophy, ensuring variety, quality, and seasonal relevance. Kitchen Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and positive working environment. Quality Control: Ensure consistency and excellence in food quality, taste, and presentation. Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective measures when necessary. Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses efficiently, controlling food costs and minimizing wastage. Work towards achieving budgetary targets without compromising on quality. Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Source high-quality ingredients and negotiate favorable terms to ensure cost-effectiveness. Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with the front-of-house team to address customer feedback and enhance the overall dining experience. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant. Culinary degree or equivalent qualification. Strong leadership and communication skills. Creative flair and ability to develop unique and appealing menus. In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of kitchen staff. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
