Role and Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Engineer at Shalimar Industries Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our manufacturing facilities. Your role will encompass the following: Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal functionality and prevent downtime. Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. Planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns and maintain production efficiency. Identifying areas for process improvement and participating in the development and implementation of enhancement initiatives. Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and materials for maintenance activities. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety among the maintenance team. Documenting maintenance activities, including repairs, modifications, and upgrades, to maintain accurate records for future reference. Mentoring and guiding junior technicians, imparting technical knowledge and best practices to ensure a high level of team performance. Requirements: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a well-established manufacturing company. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in industrial machinery and systems. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and a track record of successful implementation. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Leadership qualities to guide and mentor junior team members.
