Designation : Tender Executive / Government E-Marketplace Specialist
Job Description : Job Description - The Government E-Marketplace (GeM) Specialist plays a pivotal role in facilitating and managing government procurement activities through electronic marketplaces. This position involves a deep understanding of government tender processes, compliance requirements, and electronic procurement platforms to ensure efficient and transparent procurement operations. Responsibilities - Tender Management:: Lead and oversee the entire tender process on the Government E-Marketplace platform. Analyze government procurement requirements and create detailed tender documents. Vendor Engagement: Identify potential suppliers on GeM and ensure their registration and compliance with procurement guidelines. Foster relationships with vendors to enhance participation in government tenders. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to government procurement policies, rules, and regulations. Stay updated on changes in procurement laws and guidelines. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of all tender-related documents and transactions. Generate reports and analysis of procurement activities for government authorities. Bid Evaluation: Evaluate vendor bids and proposals for compliance and quality. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine the best-value solutions. Contract Management: Assist in contract negotiations and agreements with successful vendors. Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the procurement lifecycle. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to government agencies and vendors using the GeM platform. Qualifications/Key Skills - Proven experience in government procurement, tender management, or contract administration. Familiarity with electronic procurement platforms, especially the Government E-Marketplace (GeM). Knowledge of government procurement policies and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is a plus. Certification in government procurement or related fields is a plus.
