Designation : Senior Accountant
Job Description : Celebration Blenders & Distillers Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Kolkata. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Manage tax filings, GST compliance, and other regulatory requirements. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial analysis and insights. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information. Provide support for financial decision-making processes through detailed analysis and reporting. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices. Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the beverages or FMCG industry. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP systems. Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) is a plus.
