Designation : Civil Quality Engineer
Job Description : Job Responsibilities: Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure the quality of construction materials and workmanship adheres to project specifications, standards, and codes. Conduct quality checks during various stages of construction to maintain high standards of execution. Material Testing and Inspection: Perform tests on construction materials like concrete, aggregates, and steel to verify compliance with quality parameters. Coordinate with third-party testing agencies for material inspections and certifications. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of quality inspection reports, test results, and quality control measures. Prepare and submit daily/weekly quality reports to project managers and senior management. Compliance and Audits: Ensure construction activities comply with project quality plans and industry regulations. Participate in internal and external quality audits and implement corrective actions as required. Process Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvements in construction processes and recommend solutions. Train site teams on quality standards and best practices. Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers to address quality issues effectively. Ensure timely resolution of non-conformance issues and implement preventive measures. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and practices. Proficiency in material testing and quality control techniques. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
