Job Description : Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Assist in budget preparation and monitor variances between actual and budgeted expenses. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation. Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper recording and classification of financial transactions. Provide support during external audits and assist in implementing audit recommendations. Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for process enhancement. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both in digital and physical formats. Assist in developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard financial assets. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred but not required. Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Experience in conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations for process improvement.
