Position Overview: As a Production Manager at Shalimar Industries Ltd., you will be responsible for leading and optimizing our manufacturing operations. Your expertise in mechanical engineering and production management will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of our products. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning: Develop and execute production plans to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the production team, ensuring they work cohesively to meet production targets. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs. Resource Management: Efficiently manage production resources, including materials, equipment, and labor. Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety. Cost Management: Monitor and control production costs, striving for cost-effective production while maintaining product quality. Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and efficiency and take corrective actions as necessary. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing company, with at least 5 years in a production management role. Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and an understanding of production processes. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using production management software and tools. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
