Job Description : Job Description: Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Purbasha Group. The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in accounting and taxation, along with strong analytical abilities and a meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budget forecasts. Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies. Handle all aspects of taxation, including GST, income tax, and other statutory compliances. Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes. Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and procedures. Qualifications and Experience: ICWA / ACA (Inter) qualification is mandatory. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and taxation. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills. Strong knowledge of taxation laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently with minimal supervision. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
