Position Summary: The Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial decision-making. This role is crucial to the smooth financial operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
2. Bookkeeping: Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and collections.
4. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
5. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
6. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
7. Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
8. Audit Support: Prepare documents and assist in internal and external audits.
9. Expense Tracking: Monitor and control expenses to optimize financial performance.
10. Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
