Job Description : JD for Technical Content Writer We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for blogs, articles, services, social media, and the company website. The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content. You should be aware of technical & semi-technical write-ups and should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement. We being an IT company most of our articles would be semi-technical & few technical. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application. Content Writer Responsibilities: Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content. Generating ideas for new content types Developing content for blogs, articles, IT services we provide, social media, and the company website. Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns. Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies. Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability. Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience. Conceive well researched, creative and original content Develop relevant technical and non-technical content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, blogs, social media platforms and more Take complete ownership of the content lifecycle of a project Aptitude to work in different domains and grasp the technology Understand the needs of each readership. Perform editorial and pre-publication reviews of peer-developed content, providing clear recommendations for improvement in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as clarity and engagement. Desired Profile: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or Mass Communication. Relevant industry experience in technical and non-technical writing. A portfolio of published articles. Excellent writing and editing skills (English). The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Effective communication skills. Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends Create original and creative content and a keen eye for details with out of the box thinking and offbeat ideas Strong research skills Understand social media Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information for readers Well versed with Microsoft Word, Grammarly & other relevant tools Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a technically-focused content writer within an IT organization. Has worked closely with marketing teams, providing content marketing leadership, coordination, and content development. Must be aware of the laws of plagiarism. Excellent writing/editing skills, with an emphasis on creating easy-to-understand material.
