Job Description : Position : Florists Department : Shop Sales Reporting to : Store Manager Location : Mangalore Job Profile Includes following but not limited to :- creating floral displays, wreaths and bouquets using flowers, plants, dried flowers, wire, tape, and foam — based on either your own designs, from design books or customers' requirements Florists create arrangements and formal displays for special occasions and daily purchases set up displays on site, for example at conferences, churches, weddings or in funeral parlours advising customers on choosing flowers suitable for an occasion Prepare various floral products by making efficient arrangement by way of trimming, shaping and decorating foliages keeping the shop clean and tidy Topping up watering solutions to enhance our flowers' life spans. Advising clients on possible flower combinations. Providing occasion-specific flower suggestions. Carefully arranging palatable bouquets for purchase. Responsible for creating floral designs. Responsible for Sorting, organizing, cleaning and restock all supplies. Responsible to water and maintain all in-house plants and floral decorations. Monitor all flower vase inventory and counts for breakage or loss Maintain photos of all variety of floral arrangements done as a sample or catalogue for the guests. Stay up to date and current in design trends, floral techniques, props and other products. Advanced knowledge of fresh floral product and design technique. Excellent customer service skills. Flexibility, punctuality, teamwork and Cleanliness. Prepare designs and make floral arrangement as per guest orders for special days. Coordinate with various departments and design and gather flowers for making beautiful flower bouquet for public display. Any other duties and tasks in the area assigned by the manager or supervisor.
