Job Description : Job Title: MIS Analyst Company: Infrastructure Company Location: Kolkata, India Job Description: The Infrastructure Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MIS (Management Information Systems) Analyst to join our team in Kolkata. The MIS Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support the decision-making process within the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate and timely information to various stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Collect, compile, and analyze data from various sources to develop meaningful and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations. Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of various departments and projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy. Develop and maintain databases, data models, and data dictionaries to support efficient data management and reporting processes. Create and automate reports using data visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau, to provide stakeholders with easy-to-understand insights. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data consistency and reliability. Assist in the development and implementation of MIS systems, tools, and processes to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting activities. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide insights on business trends, opportunities, and risks. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot technical issues related to data systems and reporting tools. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in MIS, data analytics, and reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Proven work experience as an MIS Analyst or similar role, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large volumes of complex data. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistical software. Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Familiarity with database management systems and SQL querying. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets while maintaining accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of infrastructure or construction industry processes and terminology is a plus.
