Job Description : Job Title: Sales Manager (Firefighting and Industrial Safety Equipment) Location: Kolkata Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our fire fighting and industrial safety equipment company. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of sales professionals, and expanding our customer base in the Kolkata region. Your primary focus will be on selling our range of fire fighting and industrial safety equipment to businesses and organizations. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals in the Kolkata region. Identify and prospect potential clients, including industries, construction companies, warehouses, commercial establishments, and government organizations, for the sale of fire fighting and industrial safety equipment. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Lead and manage a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team sales targets. Monitor the sales team's performance, provide regular feedback, and implement corrective measures as necessary to improve sales effectiveness. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to the management team, highlighting key performance indicators, market trends, and sales opportunities. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in fire fighting and industrial safety equipment to maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and participate in industry trade shows and exhibitions to showcase our products and services. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sales agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies. Provide accurate and timely sales data, including pipeline reports, sales projections, and market feedback to support business decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage. Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role within the fire fighting and industrial safety equipment industry. Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems, safety equipment, and relevant industry regulations. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders. Proactive and result-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage sales pipelines and track performance metrics. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
