Designation : Service / Technical Support Engineer

Job Description : Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Service / Technical Support Engineer to provide expert technical assistance, service, and support for our process instruments and automation products. The role involves frequent travel to client locations and working closely with customers to ensure equipment is installed, serviced, and commissioned efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Conduct installation, commissioning, servicing, and repairing of process instruments and automation equipment. Provide technical support to clients in industries such as Steel, Power, Chemical, Cement, and Oil Refineries. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Regularly visit customer sites for service and support activities. Prepare detailed service reports and documentation post-visit. Offer training and guidance to clients on equipment usage and maintenance. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and support materials. Candidate Profile: Education: BE / B.Tech in Instrumentation or Electronics Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics B.Sc. in Physics or Electronics Experience: Retired professionals with extensive experience in service, repair, and commissioning of industrial equipment. Familiarity with servicing engineering products in industries like Steel Plants, Power Plants, Chemical Plants, Cement Plants, and Oil Refineries. Key Skills: Strong technical knowledge of process instruments and automation systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Willingness to travel to industrial sites and customer locations as required.
