Designation : Technical Support Executive / IT Engineer
Job Description : Job Description: To provide technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring a smooth technology user experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Support: a. Provide first-line technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. b. Assist users in setting up and configuring workstations, peripherals, and software applications. c. Respond to and resolve IT helpdesk requests in a timely manner. 2. Hardware and Software Maintenance: a. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals. b. Perform software installations, updates, and patches. c. Conduct regular hardware and software maintenance tasks, such as system backups and updates. 3. User Training: a. Train end-users on how to use various software applications and hardware equipment. b. Create user documentation and guides to assist with common IT issues and procedures. 4. Network Support: a. Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN). b. Ensure network security by implementing and enforcing security protocols. c. Basic knowledge on Firewalls. 5. Email Support: M365 and G-suite, configuration and troubleshooting in Windows Laptop, MAC book, I-Phone, Android Mobile. 6. Video conference: Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams installation and troubleshoot. 7. Security and Data Protection: a. Assist in maintaining data security through user access control, password management, and data encryption. b. Participate in security audits and implement security best practices. 8. Inventory Management: a. Keep track of IT assets, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses. b. Order and maintain inventory as needed. 9. Collaboration and Communication: a. Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues. b. Communicate effectively with end-users, providing clear instructions and guidance. Qualifications: 1. Graduate/Post Graduate High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting technical issues. 3. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and common software applications. 4. Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) may be beneficial.
