Designation : Sales Manager

Job Description : Department: JCB Sales (Heavy Line Business)/BHL (Back Hoe Loader) Job Title: Sales Manager- HL/ BHL Reporting to: CEO/ MD Educational Qualification: Any Graduate, PG would be a plus. Experience: 10 plus years of experience in a Team Handling role, preferably into Construction equipment/ Commercial Vehicle sales. Supervision: Team of 12 – 15 sales manpower across all districts.   Job purpose: The position would be responsible for driving team of 12-15 Manpower to ensure the sales targets are met.   Salary: 18 Lakhs to 24 Lakhs PA + incentives  Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand (includes travel across Jharkhand)  Roles and Responsibilities: Increasing Sales Volume: Meet sales targets for all HL product categories (EXC, WLS & COMP) by utilizing resources, emphasizing teamwork, and maintaining a growth-oriented mindset. Willingness to travel to engage with customers on a regular basis Market Penetration: Reach customers in remote areas within Premsons' territory, meeting targets set by JCB India. Sales Process Enhancement: Forecast market demand, ensure customer satisfaction, and provide support for product knowledge and competition evaluation. Communication: Establish clear and transparent communication between the field sales and operations teams, addressing gaps and taking necessary actions. Tracking each and every sales persons’ daily activities. Product Awareness: Conduct product demos, forecast demand, arrange road shows, and lead operations to spread awareness. Knowledge of own product and competition product- should be technically sound. Market Intelligence: Gather competitor information, collaborate with financiers, and run marketing activities to enhance competitiveness. Should be technically aware of our product as well as competition product. The customers who are inclined towards competition should be visited and the reason for not purchasing our product should be understood. Preparing Sales Report: Ex lost order, Pipeline analysis through Salesmaster, Weekly Business Report (Stock, Variant projections, Indent, Lost sales, etc.) & sign off on their accuracy before submitting them. Maintaining relationship with financers: All the financers who are funding the machines in territory should be regularly visited and have one to one relation directly. Team’s Performance Review & Recruitment: Asses the team’s performance and ensure sufficient Sales Manpower availability, Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to identify recruitment needs.
