Designation : Business Development Manager – MICE
Job Description : Dreamland Escapes Private Limited is a leading B2C travel company based in Kolkata, specializing in personalized domestic and international travel experiences. Known for its excellence in crafting tailor-made itineraries, family holidays, and group tours, Dreamland Escapes is now poised to expand aggressively into the high-potential MICE segment. As part of this strategic growth, we are looking for a seasoned and result-driven Business Development Manager – MICE to lead our corporate and group travel initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Drive MICE business growth through lead generation, client acquisition, and successful deal closures Build and manage a robust pipeline of corporate clients, institutions, and event planners Design and propose customized MICE solutions for domestic and international destinations Collaborate with hotels, airlines, DMCs, and service partners to create cost-effective, premium packages Prepare and deliver impactful proposals, client presentations, and pitch materials Lead contract negotiations and ensure profitable closure of high-value deals Represent Dreamland Escapes at trade fairs, expos, and industry networking events to build brand presence and client base Work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure flawless execution of MICE events and tours Monitor performance metrics and submit regular sales reports to the management team Deliver exceptional client service before, during, and after the trip to build long-term relationships and secure repeat business Stay informed about new trends and innovations in the MICE industry Desired Candidate Profile: Minimum 10 years of proven experience in MICE sales or business development within the travel or event management sector Established network of corporate clients and industry partners Strong understanding of MICE operations and ability to tailor services to client needs Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to prepare professional proposals and reports In-depth knowledge of popular domestic and international MICE destinations Fluent in English; knowledge of Bengali and Hindi will be an advantage Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet targets under pressure Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or a related field IATA or travel industry certifications will be an added advantage Why Join Us: Be part of a growing travel brand with a strong reputation in leisure and group travel Lead the charge in developing a high-impact MICE vertical Work with a passionate team and diverse clientele Attractive compensation package and growth opportunities within the organization
