Designation : Business Development Manager
Job Description : 1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy for the educational institution. 2. Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and trends, and developing plans to capitalize on them. 3. Building and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to generate business leads and referrals. 4. Developing and managing partnerships with educational service providers to enhance the institution's offerings and increase revenue streams. 5. Coordinating with the admissions team to identify and pursue potential students and develop outreach strategies to increase enrollment. 6. Creating marketing collateral to promote the institution's services and programs. 7. Conducting presentations and attending conferences, workshops, and other events to promote the institution's brand and services. 8. Preparing and submitting proposals and bids for contracts and projects. 9. Analyzing market trends and data to identify potential areas for expansion and growth. 10. Managing budgets and tracking revenue targets, as well as preparing regular reports for senior management to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies. The ideal candidate for a BDM in the education sector should have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, with a focus on the education industry. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels. Additionally, they should be highly organized, driven, and results-oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
