As a Back Office cum Banquet Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the banquet department and ensuring the smooth execution of all events. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Banquet Coordination: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets and events at the hotel, ensuring all arrangements are in place for a successful event. Event Coordination: Collaborate with the banquet team and other departments to ensure the seamless execution of events, including managing guest inquiries, handling event setup, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing event timelines. Back Office Support: Provide administrative support to the banquet department, including maintaining records, preparing reports, managing inventory, and handling general office duties. Guest Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their inquiries and requests promptly and professionally. Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, guests, and internal teams, ensuring all event details and requirements are accurately conveyed and understood. Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during events, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the banquet team and other hotel departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Compliance: Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Experience: Previous experience in banquet coordination, event planning, or a related role is preferred. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, guests, and team members. Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in event planning and administrative tasks. Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality. Problem-solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
