Job Description : Experience in Bakery, Cake & Pastry & Fancy Cake and Job description are mentioned below Directs food preparation and collaborates with executive chef. Helps in the design of cake, pastry, foundation cake menu. Produces high quality bread, puffs, doughnut both design and taste. Oversees and supervises factory's production staff. Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies. Ensures that food is top quality and that kitchen is in good condition. Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards. Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the performance. Prepares food properly. Schedules staff shifts. Trains new employees. Orders food supplies. Monitors and maintains production equipment. Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the production. * Supports Training and Development Activities Ensures disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process. Participates in training staff on menu items including ingredients, preparation methods and unique tastes. Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met. Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently. Assists as needed in the interviewing and hiring of employee team members with appropriate skills. Additional Responsibilities Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Brings issues to the attention of the department manager and Human Resources as necessary. Attends and participates in all pertinent meetings.
