Designation : Senior Accountant
Job Description : B C Sen & Co. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tally, finalization of accounts, GST, TDS, and preparation of balance sheets. Key Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally. Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements. Prepare and review Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and other financial reports. Handle GST compliance, return filing, and reconciliations. Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure statutory compliance. Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny. Coordinate with auditors during statutory and tax audits. Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. Maintain proper accounting documentation and records. Assist management with financial analysis and MIS reports. Eligibility Criteria B.Com graduate. Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime. Sound knowledge of: Finalization of Accounts Balance Sheet Preparation TDS Compliance & Return Filing GST Compliance & Return Filing Good understanding of accounting principles and taxation. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Candidate Candidates with relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance will be preferred. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Salary ₹4.00 – ₹5.00 Lakhs per annum (Based on experience and skills) Job Location: Kolkata
